Bill Clinton gave a rousing speech on night two of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. At the end, to the surprise of the audience and media and, who knows maybe even Clinton himself, Obama came out and gave him a big hug.

Come to The PPL Convention Watch Party!!!!!

Due to the location change of the Presidential nomination speech many with community credentials will be unable to attened the event. The PPLwill accommodate you at Packard Place for live viewing.  You are welcomed for $25 per person (usually $99/pp). Those of you with The PPL credentials are in for free!!

The Party is set to begin at 6:00 pm in The PPL Newsroom on 4th floor of Packard Place. We will have refreshments and beer available for all attendees, on a first come first served basis, provided by New Belgium Brewing. There will also be Wi-Fi and plenty of workspace open for those looking to get some work done. This will be a great time to relax, network, and watch one of the most anticipated speeches of the DNC!!
